8 zones with verified coin data

Coin farming, ranked.

Coin payouts scale per zone. The fastest farming zone is the highest one your team can clear in under 5 seconds per enemy, anything beyond that and the time-per-kill kills your coin rate. Below is every zone with documented coin data. Coins fund rebirth Goop upgrades and zone unlocks.

Editor’s note

The coin data below uses pre-MEGA UPDATE zone names (Meadow, Forest, Cavern…). The current game has 40 zones with different names (Grasslands, Desert, Polar…). The HP-to-coin ratio pattern (~10:1) likely still holds, but exact values have not been verified in-game. See the Worlds page for up-to-date zone unlock costs and enemy HP.

How coin farming actually works

Coins are the currency you feel first

Zone unlocks and your early luck and damage upgrades all pull from the same coin pile, so for most of the game a coin shortage is what actually holds you back. That makes the number worth tracking your coins-per-minute, not your biggest hit. Farming is just the search for the zone where that number is highest for the team you have right now.

Why the highest zone you can reach isn’t the best farm

Each zone up raises both enemy HP and the coins per kill. In the pre-MEGA rows we have logged, those two move together at roughly 10 HP per coin, so a zone that pays twice as much tends to have about twice the HP. If the current game still follows that shape, the larger number in the coins column doesn’t help on its own clear speed does. Coins-per-minute is coins-per-kill divided by seconds-per-kill, and seconds-per-kill comes from your damage against that zone’s HP. Push one zone too high, each kill drags from a few seconds to ten or more, and the bigger payout can’t cover the kills you lose.

Find your peak zone with the 60-second test

Don’t guess, measure. Pick a zone you clear comfortably, watch your coin counter for sixty seconds, and note the gain. Move up one zone and repeat. Keep climbing while the per-minute number rises; the moment it falls, drop back one zone that break-even point is your farm. Re-run the test after a major damage slime, a rebirth, or a coin-boost code, because your old best zone may no longer be the best one.

After Rebirth 1, coins stop being the only bottleneck

Up to your first rebirth, farm wherever your team advances fastest. Once you’re grinding toward the next rebirth, Goop becomes the gate, so compare zones by Goop-per-minute rather than coins-per-kill the rebirth guide walks through that trade-off.

Coins FAQ

What is the fastest zone to farm coins in Slime RNG?
The fastest zone depends on your team. The highest coin payout per kill is at the highest zone you can clear in under 5 seconds per enemy. Pushing beyond that point drops your coin rate because enemies take too long to kill.
How does the HP-to-coin ratio matter?
It tells you how much damage you need to deal to earn one coin. Across zones the ratio sits near 10:1, i.e. 10 HP of enemy = 1 coin. So your coin-per-second is roughly (team DPS / 10).
When should I move to a higher zone?
When your team can clear the higher zone's enemies in less than 5 seconds each, the higher coin-per-kill outweighs the longer time. Test by switching zones and watching your coins-per-minute counter.
Should I farm coins or Goop?
Pre-rebirth, farm whatever zone advances your team fastest. Post-Rebirth 1, Goop becomes the bottleneck for the next rebirth, so Polar (Zone 3) becomes the canonical farming zone until you can clear higher.
