Slime RNG Currencies: Coins, Goop, Level Points & Food

Slime RNG has four currencies — Coins, Goop, Food, and Level Points. For the exact LP route, use the dedicated How to get Level Points in Slime RNG guide. Understanding what resets, what persists, and how they interact is the difference between efficient progression and wasted time.

How to get each currency

How to get CoinsResets

Primary currency. Everything revolves around coin income.
How to get GoopPermanent

Level Points are the one currency with their own mechanics — earned by leveling slimes, spent on fruit upgrades. Full breakdown: How to get & spend Level Points →

Unlock Costs by Zone

Coin costs scale exponentially by zone. Each zone also increases enemy HP, so your team needs enough DPS to farm efficiently.

Rebirth Costs

Goop is spent on rebirths, which grant permanent luck multipliers. Costs double with each level.

Economy Tips

  1. 01

    Push zones early

Each zone jump multiplies your coin income. Unlock costs scale exponentially but so do rewards — pushing to the next zone is almost always better than grinding the current one.

  2. 02

    Don't hoard coins before rebirth

Coins reset on rebirth. Spend everything on upgrades and zone unlocks before rebirthing.

  3. 03

Unlock Goop Branch at 10M coins

The Goop Branch requires 10,000,000 coins and Simultaneous Enemies level 3. Plan your route to unlock this before considering rebirth.

  4. 04

    Stack Goop Drop Chance upgrades

Upgrade Goop Drop Chance to 85% for near-guaranteed Goop per enemy kill. This dramatically speeds up rebirth currency farming.

  5. 05

Save Luck Potions for Goop farming

Better luck during Goop farming means more rare slime drops for your Index — double benefit from the same play session.

Currency FAQ

What resets when you rebirth in Slime RNG?
Coins and zone progress reset. Slimes, slime levels, food, upgrades, Index progress, and Goop are all permanent and carry across rebirths.
How do I unlock Goop drops?
Purchase the Goop Branch for 10,000,000 coins. You also need Simultaneous Enemies level 3. After unlocking, enemies have a chance to drop Goop alongside coins.
What is the best zone for farming coins?
Always farm in the highest zone your team can efficiently clear. Each zone gives 4-5x more coins than the previous one. If enemies take too long to kill, drop back one zone.
How much Goop do I need for my first rebirth?
The first rebirth costs 500 Goop and gives 1.82x luck. Costs double each level: 1,000, 2,000, 4,000, and 8,000 Goop for Rebirths 2-5. Each level multiplies luck by another 1.82x.

Worked example

Scenario: You have just unlocked the second zone, Desert, but you are still farming Grasslands to afford a few more luck upgrades. Should you keep grinding or push forward?

The right move is to push Desert. Desert costs 400 coins to unlock, but each enemy there drops roughly 4–5× as many coins as Grasslands. That means the time you would spend grinding Grasslands for a small upgrade is better spent unlocking Desert, because one kill in Desert equals several kills in Grasslands. Once you can clear Desert comfortably, your income compounds and the earlier upgrades become trivial.

This is the core currency rule in Slime RNG: push zones before you grind upgrades. The coin scaling per zone is worth more than almost any single upgrade you can buy in the current zone.

Editor’s note

The most common mistake: grinding Grasslands to buy luck upgrades. Coins scale exponentially per zone — pushing to Desert (400 coins to unlock) immediately multiplies your income. That one zone push is worth more than any single upgrade you can buy in Grasslands.
