How we price a slime

Rarity

The base roll chance sets the floor. A 1-in-7-billion Transcendent will always be worth more than a 1-in-500 Common, everything else equal.

Utility

Slimes with team-wide auras, luck passives, or crafting demand retain value beyond their combat tier. Lucky Slime is the classic example.

Demand

A slime is only worth what someone will trade. We read the Trading Discord weekly and tag each entry High / Medium / Low based on active bid volume.

What moves prices

Values can shift 20–40% within 24 hours. The main drivers: a new code drop that hands out free luck potions, a developer giveaway of a Huge variant, a rebalance patch that buffs or nerfs a slime, or a YouTuber featuring a specific hunt target. Treat every number as a snapshot, not a contract.

How this snapshot is built

  1. 01

    Read the Trading Discord

Skim the past week of #wtb / #wts / #completed-trades posts to gauge what is actively bid for and what is sitting.

  2. 02

    Cross-check rarity sources

Compare with rarity tables on slimerng.org, IGN and slime-rng.wiki. Where sources disagree the entry is marked needs_check rather than guessed.

  3. 03

    Apply demand × utility

Pure rarity is never the whole story. Each slime is tagged Demand High / Medium / Low based on whether it has a recurring trade signal in the Discord.

Editor’s note

Slime RNG has no price oracle. Every number here is one editor reading the Trading Discord on a Tuesday night, and prices move 20-40% in the hour after a Huge Lucky giveaway. Use the W/F/L as a starting frame, not a settlement price.

Trading values FAQ

How are these values determined?
They are an editorial snapshot from a public reading of the Slime RNG Trading Discord (several thousand members) plus rarity tables on competitor wikis. They are intentionally illustrative. There is no central price oracle in Slime RNG, always cross-check with at least two recent trade comps before agreeing to anything.
Why is Lucky Slime worth more than rarer slimes?
Demand. Lucky's +Luck aura makes it useful even at end-game; rarer stat-stick slimes get discarded once you have B-tier or better. Rarity is not the same as value. Value = rarity × utility × demand.
Why do some rarer slimes cost less than common utility slimes?
Because value is rarity × utility × demand. A Rare slime with a luck aura that every endgame player wants will outprice a Legendary stat-stick that nobody equips.
How often is this snapshot refreshed?
We review the Trading Discord and competitor wikis weekly. The last review date is shown at the top of the page. Major events may trigger an earlier refresh.
Should I trade based on value alone?
No. Use value as a starting frame, then check at least two recent completed trades in the Discord. Motivation matters: a seller in a hurry may take 80% of listed value; a collector may pay a premium.
How does the W/F/L calculator decide?
Add slimes to 'You give' and 'You get'. Each side's value is the sum of (community-aggregated value × quantity). If you receive at least 20% more value, it's a WIN. -15% to +20% is FAIR. -15% or worse is a LOSS. Values are community-aggregated from the Trading Discord; they are approximate, not authoritative.
Where do I find the Slime RNG Trading Discord?
Search "Slime RNG Trading" on Discord. The official Stouts Studio Discord also has a #trade channel for spot deals.
Can values change overnight?
Yes. New code drops, dev tweets, or a Huge Lucky giveaway can shift values 20-40% within 24 hours. Treat this snapshot as a starting point, not a contract price.
Are these values for self-trades or open market?
Open market. Self-trades typically transact at 80-90% of listed value because you are motivated to move inventory faster.
Can you actually trade slimes in Slime RNG?
Slime RNG does not have a traditional player-to-player trading system. The closest mechanic is Slime Transfer, which lets you send a slime to another player for 1,000,000 coins — but the recipient only gets 75% of the XP. There is no item marketplace or direct swap.
Is it safe to buy slimes on itemku or third-party sites?
No. Third-party marketplaces like itemku carry significant risks including scams, account bans, and chargebacks. Slime RNG has no official RMT (real-money trading) system. If you trade outside the game, you do so entirely at your own risk.
