The May 16 update is one of the biggest content drops since the MEGA UPDATE. It introduces a brand-new weapon system (Slime Gun), a new rolling mechanic (Galaxy Rolls), 5 new zones, 5 new slimes, and expanded goop upgrades.
The Slime Gun is a new weapon type that lets you actively shoot enemies instead of relying solely on slime auto-attacks. This is a major shift in gameplay — for the first time, players have direct combat input.

Galaxy Rolls appear to be a new tier or mechanic layered on top of the existing rolling system. Early reports suggest they offer enhanced rewards or access to exclusive slimes.

Five new zones have been added to the game map, extending endgame progression beyond the previous cap. These zones contain the 5 new slimes introduced in this update.

Additional goop upgrade options have been added to the rebirth system, giving endgame players more ways to spend accumulated goop. This expands the upgrade tree beyond the previous MEGA UPDATE additions.
