Axolotl

Axolotl is the epic-tier tank, and that framing matters more than its 1 in 2,390 rarity. It survives longer than its peers, but its damage is low enough that fights drag, and Tier C reflects that survivability alone does not move you forward in this game.

Equip Axolotl if you are dying in a zone and need to stop the resets, then drop it the moment a higher-damage option lets you kill before you would have died anyway. The right comparison is Spike, which trades survival for damage at the same rarity tier. Most accounts cycle through both as available, never as a planned chase, and find the actual answer waiting at Rocky in the legendary band.

Treat Axolotl as time bought, not progress made. By the time you are pulling Spidey or Mushy you should already be past the survivability problem Axolotl was solving. If you are still equipping it after your first legendary, the bottleneck has shifted to your damage, and no amount of Axolotl stat sheet will fix that — keep rolling instead and let Rocky take over the wall.
